Dreamworks Animation has got be breathing a much needed sigh of relief after The Croods managed to pick up where their last release Rise of the Guardians failed.
Oz the Great and Powerful reigned supreme again at this week’s box office, bringing in another $42.2 million, bringing its two week total to $145 million domestically, making it the highest grossing movie of 2013 already.
Well, I’m eating a bit of crow this morning, because I, in no way, thought the Wizard of Oz prequel starring James Franco would open to $80.2 million and $150 million worldwide.
And no, I’m not referring to the remake due out in theaters on April 5th. Sam Raimi opened up about what the future has in store for Evil Dead 4 whilst on a press tour for Oz the Great and Powerful.
And no, not the prison to get butt-raped by a large inmate. Bruce Campbell tweeted that he just found out from Sam Raimi that he has been cast in a “PIVOTAL role” in Oz the Great and Powerful.
