This is most certainly a childhood guilty pleasure of mine and really stood out from all of the other Disney movies of the time because it was kind of heavy.
I don’t usually get on the animated film bandwagon’s, but for once, I am happy to see one win the weekend box office in Wreck-It Ralph.
Disney had such good like with the first go around, that they’re thinking of giving The Rocketeer another shot.
We’ve been kept in serious suspense as to whether this project would ever come to fruition over the last couple of years, but it’s happening and we have the pic to prove it.
So this could go either way. It could be the next Star Wars or it could be the next Beastmaster. Okay, so maybe not Star Wars, but I’m leaning to giving it the benefit of the doubt.
The more I see of this movie, the more surprised I am with how good it actually looks. Okay, so maybe I’m a little partial to Tim Riggins from “Friday Night Lights,” but really, this looks like a legit sci-fi action film.
You have to respect Depp’s loyalty, which was evident after he backed Gore Verbinski, saying that he wouldn’t do The Lone Ranger without Verbinski at the helm.
