Hey, Lionsgate! F**k You!

Why the expletive directed at the studio? They’re already talking about rebooting Twilight. See? Now you understand my furious anger.

The last installment of the angsty teen, sparkly vampire, rip off of Romeo & Juliet franchise hasn’t even hit theaters yet and the brass over at Lionsgate are already planning on rebooting the f**king thing.

According to Bloody-Disgusting, “they’re already discussing it internally. It will happen.” The site adds that “It is still undecided exactly what the future of the franchise will be, though. It could be a direct remake… but then again it could also be a spinoff or maybe even a one-off sequel.”

Okay, so now the plot thickens because Deadline.com contacted Lionsgate Co-Chairman Rob Friedman who said, ”We are not remaking Twilight. We will happily support Stephenie Meyer if she decides to proceed in any way. But this will be the last one unless that should change.”

Who do I believe? Well I’ve been at this too long to not play devil’s advocate and can almost guarantee that since Lionsgate has grossed over $2 billion off the Twilight franchise, we can almost be guaranteed a reboot. And then I will stab myself in the heart with a wooden stake.
