We were as puzzled as you were when we broke the news that Russell Crowe would be starring alongside RZA in a kung fu movie. But by the looks of this poster, I can’t wait to see the trailer which should be debuting shortly.

Starring RZA, Russell Crowe, Jamie Chung, Lucy Liu and Pam Grier, the film centers on a blacksmith (RZA) in feudal China who makes weapons for a small village. He is put in the position where he must defend himself and his fellow villagers.

Okay, so maybe it borrows a bit from Kurosawa, but I’m still in. No release date as of yet, but I’m sure one will come with the trailer due out soon.
