Don’t Forget This S**t: HOBGOBLINS (1988)

How does one describe this terrible movie? It’s pretty easy because it’s virtually a complete rip-off of Gremlins and Ghoulies, which was lower budget creature FX.

Ah, the 1980′s, a time where any piece of crap movie had a fighting chance. How bad is this movie? Well, after the Mystery Science Theater 3000 gang had their way with it, MST3K writer Paul Chaplin later commented on Hobgoblins, saying, “It shoots right to the top of the list of the worst movies we’ve ever done.”

Oooooh, they’re aliens. Right, so they’re nothing like Gremlins. Instead they’re a complete ripoff of Critters. Now it all makes sense. Hell, in the trailer below the V.O. even refers to them as “gremlins.” Come on! How lazy can you possibly be?!
