WB Determined to Revive Tarzan

Warner Bros. currently has two different “Tarzan” scripts in development.  Most recently, as of yesterday, Craig Brewer signed on to write a storyline that would play out over three films. Brewer, the writer/director of Hustle and Flow and Black Snake Moan, most recently directed the Footloose remake.

The other “Tarzan” project in development is from Adam Cozad.  Cozad’s is an origin story, telling the tale of how Tarzan was raised by apes in his infancy.  Cozad just finished writing the untitled Jack Ryan sequel.

Personally, I could care less about rehashing this antiquated character of fiction, but apparently WB has a bug up their ass and must think the world is ready for primal chest pounding and swinging through the vines again.
