David O. Russell – B-Movie Director?

Not quite.  However, he is in talks to direct a biopic about Russ Meyer’s, who is considered to be one of the kings of the exploitation B-movies. Russ Meyer directed such iconic films as Faster, Pussycat!  Kill!  Kill! and Super Vixens. Fox Searchlight is in the process of buying the pitch from Russell and part of the deal includes acquiring the rights to Jimmy McDonough’s, “Big Bosoms And Square Jaws: The Biography Of Russ Meyer, King Of The Sex Film.”
