Channing Tatum to Rock Green Tights

He won’t be playing Aquaman, or star in the Green Lantern sequel.  Channing Tatum will be donning green tights when he takes on the role of Peter Pan.  Whaaaaaaaaa?

Why do so many of the entertainment headlines these days seem like they belong in “The Onion?”  This is no joke however, Channing Tatum has just sold his project, Pan, to Sony Pictures.  Apparently, it’s an origin story of Peter Pan in Never-Never Land.  So why is the beefcake so gung-ho on playing a children’s character, who in the Disney movie, could easily be mistaken for a girl?  I have no idea.

Billy Ray is currently working on a draft of the film for Sony, with Joe Roth producing.  It should be interesting to see how this all unfolds.  Channing Tatum in green tights has not been confirmed.
