No JCVD in ‘Timecop 2.0′

Seriously?  Why even bother?  I mean the only thing that made Timecop remotely watchable was the “Muscles from Brussels” kicking ass and taking names, and Mia Sara in the last few years of her hotness.  Universal is apparently forging ahead with the remake of the 1994 Timecop and Jean Claude Van Damme was not offered a role in the film.

The thought of John Cena, Channing Tatum, or Michael Cera (actually that could be kind of funny) taking over the reins in Timecop 2.o is a tad bit depressing.  Plus, I guarantee none of those other clowns can do the splits over a kitchen counter!  If you want a little refresher of what Timecop was exactly about, check out the trailer below:
